The drum unit is an essential part of any laser printer that transfers toner to the surface of the paper. Without it, any printout would be impossible. How it's working? The surface of the drum is covered with a photosensitive material. The drum is positively or negatively charged and therefore attracts toner particles. The pressure and temperature that occurs causes the toner to stick to the sheet of paper.
Each printer cartridge, be it laser or inkjet, has a specific color. Depending on whether we want black and white or color printing, we select the appropriate cartridges. In order to obtain different shades and colors in a printout, four basic colors are needed.
It is well known that printing is not cheap. Large-scale printing in particular can be a huge cost - apart from the cost of a laser printer, which is definitely more recommended for high-frequency printing - the price of printer toner is usually quite high, especially for genuine products. Fortunately, there is a way - toner replacements, including regenerated ones.
